The Journey Home from Morocco

On board the Ferry to England

Well, our Moroccan adventure has come to an end. We’ve been in Morocco for the last two weeks and its been a wonderful adventure! We’ve gotten to see and do so many things on our trip, but there’s still a bit left of the story to tell: the journey home from Morocco to London. You can read about our journey there, the trip from Tanger to Marrakech, exploring Marrakech and heading to Tafraoute, and our Continue Reading →

We are coming to the end of our Moroccan trip. You can read my earlier posts from the road about getting to Morocco, visiting Marrakech, and the road to Tafraoute. After having a nice, relaxing evening in Tafraoute where we restocked our supplies, enjoyed real showers, and had a fun dinner in a Berber tent, we got on the road early. From Tafraoute, we drove mostly on main roads through Agadir and to the beach. Continue Reading →

If you’ve been following my last two posts (here and here) you’ll know we’re in the middle of a trip through Morocco! We spent Tuesday and Wednesday exploring Marrakech and getting lost (in a good way) in the souks in the medina. After one last night in Marrakech, we headed out early Thursday morning into the High Atlas Mountains. At one of our rest stops, we pulled over to a cafe and found an argan Continue Reading →

First Days in Morocco: Tanger to Marrakech

Marrakech Medina

If you read my last post, we are currently on an overlanding trip through Morocco. On Monday, we drove south through the rest of Spain to Algeciras. After a bit of bargaining with the ferry companies, Russ, our trip leader, got us tickets on the next ferry to Morocco. The ferry ride was pretty  quick, just an hour and a half! Unlike other international ferries, you get your passport checked and stamped onboard the boat Continue Reading →

Its been a while since I’ve posted on here and some big changes have happened! Last time I posted, we were still living in Switzerland and I wasn’t working, though I was looking for a job. A Weekend in the French Riviera and Monaco

A Weekend Near Saint-Tropez and Monaco

Its been a while since I’ve posted but we’ve been traveling a lot and I’ve just started working. So I’ve decided to try to post shorter stories of our travels.
